Located on leafy Russell Street in a landmark 1920’s building is the newly opened cocktail bar and dining room Gimlet at Cavendish House. You will step into a world of nostalgia and glamour at the Chicago-style Cavendish House, a heritage gem lavishly re-imagined by Andrew McConnell and Acme & Co.

IDES
92 Smith Street, Collingwood

IDES dining room will be reopening on Thursday 4th June. Lunch will operate from 12 pm Sunday and Dinner from 6 pm Wednesday to Saturday. They will be unable to seat tables larger than six patrons.

Ishizuka
Basement Level b01/139 Bourke Street, Melbourne

Be the first to experience Ishizuka’s new nine-course dining experience from Thursday 9 July, showcasing the best produce and flavours of winter, with the option to add alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink pairings as you wish. The restaurant is open 6 days for dinner from Wednesday to Monday (closed Tuesdays) offering the unrivalled Kaiseki Menu fro $235 p.p.  All reservations prior to 8.00 pm are allocated a 2 hour dining time. They welcome children 4 years of age and above, however, they do not offer alterations to the menu size.

Kisume will be re-opening from Friday 5 June at 5 pm and prepayment of $95 per person will apply to the booking for each guest and redeemable on food & beverage.

Longrain Restaurant
44 Little Bourke Street, Melbourne

Longrain is set to re-open 29 July with Scott Pickett of Pickett and Co to oversee the running of Longrain as restaurateur and allow chef Arte Assavakavinvong and his team to continue to cook the signature Longrain dishes with some new additions with a Pickett twist. Open from Tuesday – Saturday for Dinner, all day dining on Fridays from 12 pm.

Matilda 159

Online reservation are open for groups of up to 6 guests from Tuesday 2 June from 5 -8 pm Tuesday – Friday and 9 am – 2 pm and 5 – 8 pm Saturday & Sunday.  For enquiries of 7 or more, contact the restaurant directly via info@matilda159.com. The first restaurant to ignite Melbourne’s obsession with tapas, sharing plates, and venues tucked away down graffiti-scrawled laneways, MoVida Original stands proud in Hosier Lane as a stalwart Melbourne icon. Open Sunday – Thursday from 12 pm – 10 pm and Friday & Saturday from 12 pm – 10.30 pm.

Aqui
Aqui is a big open space, with a big open kitchen, think rustic paella and meat grilled to perfection over charcoal. Open Tuesday – Friday from 12 pm till late and Saturday from 6 pm till late (closed Sunday & Monday).

Next Door
164 Flinders Street (corner Hosier Lane), Melbourne

This once corner milk bar, now the home of MoVida Next Door is the perfect spot for a quick tipple and shellfish a la plancha. Fifteen ever-changing daily specials scrawled on the chalkboard above the bar supplement the menu classics like Croqueta. Open Wednesday & Thursday from 5 – 10 pm, Friday & Saturday from 12 – 11 pm and Sunday from 12 – 10 pm (closed Monday & Tuesday).

Prince Dining Room
2 Acland Street, St Kilda

The Prince Dining Room will reopen on Monday 1st June. Opening with a hot new menu for cooler the cooler months, with dishes like charred calamari, fried tentacles, finger lime and saffron may, Ironbark smoked Wagyu skewwers with fermented green chilli; and wood fired dutch cream potatoes with sumac and harissa. Open Monday – Thursday 5 pm to late & Friday – Sunday Midday – Late.

Rockpool Bar & Grill
8 Whiteman Street, Crown Complex, Southbank

The team are getting ready to re-open from Monday 22 June 7 nights from 6 – 10 pm and Friday & Saturday lunch from 12 – 3 pm.

The French Brasserie
2 Malthouse Lane, Melbourne

The restaurant will be re-opening from Wednesday 3 June for 20 guests per sitting.

Vue de Monde
Rialto Tower, 525 Collins Street, Melbourne

Vue de Monde will be re-opening on Thursday 25 June for Dinner service. Dinner service will resume from Thursday to Saturday each week and will feature a tantalising new menu. They will be taking reservations up to three months ahead  from 25 June – Wednesday 30 September.
