Linnaeus Collection was born from a love of beautiful holiday homes, thoughtful architecture, and the striking natural beauty of the NSW South Coast. For Peter Yannopoulos, this passion began in the early 90’s when his family purchased a holiday home in Vincentia, Jervis Bay. Enchanted by the area and equally drawn to the historic village of Berry he knew that one day Berry would be part of his story. Two decades later, that vision became a reality when Peter, a lifelong property enthusiast acquired a farm on Coolangatta Road in Berry.

Together with Peter, from Maticore Projects and Nadia, from Common Sense Creative they have created a benchmark collection of luxury, boutique holiday properties in Berry on the spectacular NSW south coast. Peter’s experience as a builder & developer of luxury properties bought in Soul Home as part of the team, utilising Simone’s experience developing luxury holiday accommodation. Together they presented the Linnaeus Collection to a market hungry for something new and fresh.

Linnaeus Farm
The heart of the collection Escape the everyday and embrace the comfort of country living in an expansive setting. With expansive 360 degree views of the rolling, green countryside dotted with cows, a dramatic escarpment and Saddleback Mountain beyond. This luxury farm property is a masterclass in high-end finishes and a minimalist, warm aesthetic.

There are separate entertaining areas, open-plan kitchen, living, dining areas, all flooded with natural light. On the property, make use of the swimming pool, meditation hut, rolling grass for free play, hand sewn vegetable garden, fire pit and multi-use barn feature infrared sauna. The house offers 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.

Moraea Farm
Where a timeless farmhouse is reimagined with bold flair with a stay at Moraea Farm. Embrace simplicity and relaxation surrounded by vivid colours, stunning marble, and sustainable recycled timber. Featuring broad, wrap-around verandas, the cottage welcomes you to its high ceilings, timber polished floorboards and exposed brick walls.

During your stay, make use of the heated swimming pool, pizza oven, fire pit and wood burning fire place. You’ll also enjoy access to the full estate gardens, chicken coop with eggs hatch, pat the highland cows and goats or visit the private restaurant. You can also book in a farm tour or feeding session!

Situated just a few kilometres from sister properties, Linnaeus Farm, Rubus and Maple Cottages, a 5 minute drive into the bustling heart of Berry or 8 minutes to the ocean and the glorious stretches of sand on Seven Mile Beach.

Coming soon in late 2025, the Linnaeus Collection restaurant for private hire. Moraea Farm will feature a restaurant with full commercial kitchen and an outdoor Argentinian BBQ and woodfire pizza oven, elegant marble tables, and a harmonious blend of sandstone and other natural materials throughout.

The Maple Cottages sit on private blocks, side by side, and are a bold statement in contemporary-meets-classic architecture. They’re the perfect boutique holiday rentals for families, groups of friends, couples, small corporate getaways or family celebrations, and can be booked separately or together. Located in Berry, NSW South Coast.

Set just one street back from the hustle and bustle of Berry’s eclectic shopping strip with its vibrant clusters of boutiques, cafes and restaurants, sits Maple cottages, the newest of the properties in the Linnaeus Collection’s luxury accommodation group.

For families with young children, Maple is a couple of minutes walk from Berry’s acclaimed Boongaree Rotary Nature Play Park, which is packed with nature and sensory fun to suit all ages and abilities. Maple is also just 10 minutes drive through lush, rolling green paddocks to the Pacific Ocean and the long stretches of sand on renowned Seven Mile Beach. It’s quite simply the best ‘country meets the sea’ break away.

Each bedroom feels like a hotel suite, with 5 star beds dressed in Cultiver linens, their own ensuites featuring natural stone and custom vanities, TVs, wall mirrors, open-plan wardrobes and health-giving greenery. The Master Guest Room upstairs has a dramatic pitched ceiling, an ensuite with a freestanding bath and a built-in daybed, the perfect spot to sit and unwind.

Rubus Pink | Rubus Blue | Rubus Green
Thoughtfully crafted residences designed for guests to find solace and renewal at the Linnaeus Collection country retreat. The residences have been named Rubus Pink, Rubus Blue, and Rubus Green inspired by the subtle interior colour theme unique to each house. They provide the perfect combination of tranquillity and comfort with dual living areas, an indoor fireplace and a heated outdoor pool. There are four spacious bedrooms per dwelling, each with private ensuites.
