Rising up between Harry Seidler’s “modernist mushroom’ and the iconic tower within his heritage-listed MLC Centre, The International is not just a restaurant, its a culinary destiantion.
The Wine Bar: comprises of three unique spaces, a piazza-style courtyard for all-day-dining and drinks, a 4-seat wine bar overlooking the kitchen and pizza oven, and a luxe 60-seat dining room.
The Grill: Filled with mid-century furniture this opulent indoor outdoor dining room. From the finest grade produce and culinary techniques guided by Joel Bickford the menu is enhanced by wood fired and charcoal grills with a strong focus on provenance and seasonality along with icy Martini’s and champagne paired with freshest seafood.
The Panorama Bar: located on the top level of The International, with a snack and small plates menu by culinary director Joel Bickford and executive chef Danny Corbett.
Eleven Barrack Dining
Eleven Barrack, a luxe seafood and steak bar and grill by The Bentley boys. Housed in the historic ‘Barrack Street Bank’ building, perfect spot for long lunches and elegant dinners in the main dining room to casual catch-ups at the bar and leisurely outdoor dining.
This seafood and steak grill takes its cues from the grand dining rooms of New York and Paris, blending refined tradition with a bold, contemporary flair with a menu reflects this duality, offering a selection of premium wood-fired seafood and meats, alongside pasta, salads, and thoughtfully crafted dishes that celebrate the finest local produce. Alfie’ Bar and Steakhouse, 4 – 6 Bligh St
An effortlessly cool city haunt that flips the steakhouse bar and restaurant model on his head. The dining time is fast (90 mins), the sounds are dapper and the meat is prepared in your gaze alongside a red glow thrown from the dry age. Alfie’s reinvents the idea of the steakhouse as a place of opulence and excess with a stripped back, irreverent and rule breaking cocktail bar and restaurant inspired by the underbelly of East London. The energy of the venue is explosive, the art is bold, the sounds are edgy and the dining time is fast, just over one hour.

Sitting in Paddington’s aptly named, heritage-listed Grand National Hotel, the restaurant features a menu of lesser-known seafood cuts and a scale-to-tail approach that sees more than just fillets heroed on the menu through seafood charcuterie, snacks and even desserts.
