Busy schedules and precious time with family has us seeking out one flight destinations for our international experiences for a 3 – 5 day agenda.
Port Vila, Vanuatu
The Islands of Vanuatu are surrounded by colourful coral reefs, deserted beaches and crystal blue waters, where no two beaches are the same. Each island location offers something different.
Quiet lagoons where dugongs wallow, black volcanic sands, white sandy beaches, blue holes for snorkelling, waves for surfing, deep water for diving amongst ship wrecks and impressive deep sea boating and fishing.
Port Vila is a compact energetic town, with access to an overwhelming array of tours and adventure activities, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, banks and markets.
Virgin Australia: Flights are available Brisbane direct to Port Vila 4 days a week, with connecting flights available from most capital cities.
Air Vanuatu: Flights available direct to Port Vila from Sydney 6 days a week, Brisbane 3 days a week and Melbourne once a week. Flight duration ranges from 3-5 hours depending on the origin of your departure.

Fiji
Famous for its soft coral diving, white sand beaches, pristine natural environment, friendly locals and relaxed island atmosphere, Fiji is the heart of the South Pacific and comprises of 333 tropical islands.
On the west coast of the Island Viti Levu, Nadi is Fiji’s third largest city. A gateway to world-class resorts, located on stunning island atolls.
Nestled in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, there are a number of carriers with flights to Nadi. Fiji Airways, the national carrier, has regular flights from many international destinations (Auckland, Christchurch, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Hong Kong). Jetstar, Virgin Australia, Air New Zealand, Korean Air, Pacific Blue, Air Niugini, Air Vanuatu and Air Caledonia fly regularly to Fiji.

Queenstown, New Zealand
A country of picturesque scenery, New Zealand’s two beautiful islands offer something for everyone from nature lovers to adrenaline junkies.
Located on the South Island, Queenstown’s staggering beauty and heart-pumping thrills await. Known as the area where much of Lord of Rings trilogy was filmed is it also a location for outdoor enthusiasts.
Direct Flights To & From: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch with Qantas, Air New Zealand, Jetstar and Virgin Australia.
Best time to travel: All year round. The region is famous for having four distinct seasons. In winter you’ll experience the stunning snowcapped mountains and green valleys. Spring transforms the area with bright colours and summer brings the long, warm days leaving plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors. In autumn you can enjoy the sight of red and gold blanketing the hills.

Noumea, New Caledonia
With natural wonders and manmade delights, be lured by the charming mix of French and Melanesian of New Caledonia. It ticks all the boxes: European elegance, gourmet food, palm trees, sand, bungalows, gorgeous beaches backed by cafes and bars and horizons dotted with tiny islets.
The port city of Noumea, showcases its diverse population and colourful architecture, reflecting its colonial history. The relaxed city sits on a large peninsula, surrounded by picturesque bays, dine at sassy French restaurants hidden in Quartier Latin or bold water-fronting bistros; spend the afternoon shopping the latest Parisian fashions or bargain hunt for imported Asian textiles.
New Caledonia has a tropical climate and the weather is spring-like year round. The average temperatures are between 15 ° and 32 ° C depending on the season.
Qantas and Aircalin co-share flights to New Caledonia from Australia including direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and Air New Zealand from Auckland. Tontouta International Airport is located 45 minutes drive from Noumea.

Phuket, Thailand
A country rich with culture, history and exotic locations. Gleaming temples and golden Buddhas frame both the rural and modern landscape, long coastline and jungle-topped islands, Thailand is a tropical location for all.
Phuket has some of Thailand’s most popular beaches, mostly situated along the clear waters of the western shore. Phuket Town has morphed into an artsy, culturally rich capital, where travellers flock in droves each year.
Most domestic airlines operate several flights daily between Phuket and Bangkok, Samui, and Chiang Mai. There are also numerous international airlines that fly directly to Phuket from various cities around Asia, including Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Penang, Singapore, and Sydney (Jestar & Virgin Australia).
Due to the evergrowing number of flights to Phuket, its international airport is going through a major revamp and enlargement that should be completed in 2016.

Honolulu, Hawaii
There’s no place on earth like Hawaii. A place of magnificent mountains, lush rainforest and spectacular scenery, this picturesque island hideaway also enjoys fantastic shopping opportunities.
One of the most popular destinations in the world, Honolulu offers a buzz of activities set amongst a tropical landscape from a bustling hub of shopping, dining, entertainment and nightlife making it a mecca travellers.
You will fly into Honolulu International Airport (HNL) on Oahu. This is Hawaii’s major airport, serving as the entry point for most of Hawaii’s visitors. All major international carriers fly into Oahu, with direct flights from Australia with Qantas, Jetstar, Hawaiian airlines, Virgin Australia and New Zealand with American Airlines, Air New Zealand, and Hawaiian Airlines.
Best time to travel: The weather is tropical all year round.
