Born and raised in the heart of Bretagne, France, Julien brings a lifetime of culinary passion and hospitality expertise to Franquette Soirée. With a career honed in Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe and a reputation for excellence in Sydney’s dining scene, Julien is a seasoned professional who understands the art of creating unforgettable experiences.

After managing world-class Mona Farm the renowned wedding, event, and accommodation estate in Braidwood, Julien, together with his wife Romy, embarked on their own venture, Franquette Crêperie in Bowral. Inspired by Julien’s fondest childhood memories of weekends at local crêperies, Franquette is the realisation of their shared dream to bring authentic French cuisine to a welcoming and contemporary setting. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Julien ensures that every element of Franquette Soirée reflects the same warmth, style, and flair whilst creating exceptional moments for every celebration.

ABOUT ROMY

With over 15 years experience in Australia’s fine dining, event, and leisure industries, Romy brings a refined expertise to Franquette Soirée. Her career began with Sydney Restaurant Group, where she contributed to the success of some of Sydney’s most distinguished dining destinations. This foundation set the stage for her transition to General Manager of the prestigious Mona Farm, where she played a pivotal role in curating exceptional weddings and events.

Romy’s approach is defined by an innate ability to combine elegance with thoughtful detail, ensuring every element feels considered and personal. Romy is dedicated to crafting experiences that feel as special as they look, delivering seamless and stylish celebrations through Franquette Soirée.
