The International is a multi-dimensional venue that draws energy from the precinct’s mid-century modern design, celebrates its place within the cultural epicentre of the CBD, and presents three distinctly international levels of hospitality reflecting Sydney’s progressive drinking and dining culture today. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a a social and culinary destination where the only rule is that that the food, the wine, and hand-crafted beverages must be delicious and of exceptional quality, and the service dedicated, inspire and authentic.

Across its three levels, The International plays host to a rotating line-up of experiences. Below, a look at what’s currently drawing Sydney in.

Pure Pours is Back at The International
Discover the best of New Zealand’s Central Otago Region

Taking over The Wine Bar and Panorama Bar on Saturday 17 October, Pure Pours: Central Otago NZ Wine Festival will welcome 20+ wineries and 100+ wines for an afternoon of free-flowing tastings, producer conversations and  discover-led drinking. The Wine Bar’s snack menu will also be available throughout the afternoon.

Known for its dramatic alpine landscapes, extreme growing conditions and expressive cool-climate wines, Central Otago has built a global reputation for Pinot Noir, while also producing excellent Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris and other aromatic varieties.

For one afternoon only, guests will be able to taste the breadth of the region in one place, from bright, precise whites and textured Chardonnays to methode traditionnelle sparkling and the perfumed Pinot Noirs that have put Central Otago on the world stage.

Designed for both wine lovers and wine-curious, it is a chance to move through the venue at your own pace, meet the people behind the bottles, ask questions, compare styles and discover why Central Otago continues to capture the attention of drinkers around the world.

Jake Kellie of Arkhé joins The Grill for an exclusive one-night-only live-fire dinner.

For one night only, Jake Kellie, one of Australia’s most acclaimed live-fire chefs and the force behind Adelaide’s celebrated arkhé, comes to The International for an exclusive dinner built around fire. With both arkhé and The Grill ranked among Australia’s Top 10 steak restaurants in the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants 2026, the dinner marks a rare meeting of two of the country’s leading fire-led kitchens.

Intimate and immersive, the evening will see Kellie and The Grill’s culinary team will work side by side across a mutli-course menu that moves from oysters and fire-driven snacks through pristine Australian seafood, exceptional beef, black truffle and whisky, with the action unfolding over the open flames of the Grill.

The dinner marks the culmination of Winter of Whisky, The Point Group’s month-long celebration of whisky after dark, presented by Johnnie Walker. Spanning Shell House, The International, The Dolphin and Harry’s, the campaign has explored the culture and rituals surrounding great whisky through bespoke cocktails, flame-led dining, live music, late-night parties and fireside moments, with Jake Kellie x The Grill providing a standout finale to the season.
