Summer Entertaining with Michael Rantissi from Kepos Street Kitchen – Wednesday 1 November, Alexandria
Join Simon Johnson for a Middle Eastern dinner party with Michael Rantissi from Kepos Street Kitchen at the SIMON JOHNSON Cooking School, in Alexandria. Michael loves to entertain at home so this class will be a showcase of some of his recipes – perfect for a Sydney summer or for entertaining over the holiday season.
Michael will demonstrate some of his favourite dishes during this two-hours class and everyone will have the chance to have a taste. The food that he will show draws on the best of his childhood meals mixed with his classical training. Dishes which have a strong Mediterranean influence with a Middle Eastern twist and will be inspired by seasonal produce.
- Eggplant mutabal dip
- Chermoula prawns (he will demonstrate cooking the prawns as well as the chermoula recipe)
- Fennel salad
- Banana kataifi tart
