A Celebration of NSW Excellence – Saturday 4 & Sunday 5 October, 2025
A fresh and flavour-packed new festival is heading to the NSW Southern Highlands, with the debut of Horizontal Festival Festival this October long weekend – reimagining the traditional food and wine experience with a bold new twist.
Supported by Destination NSW, Horizontal Festival will present an immersive food and wine experience paired with curated music, art and culture, presenting a two-day journey of meaningful connections with producers and primary industries from paddock to plate.
Set in the picturesque surrounds of Centennial Vineyard in Bowral, Horizontal Festival is more than just a food and wine celebration—its part concert, part degustation menu, part art show and part wine, craft beer & distillery tasting – it’s a curated sensory journey. Across two unforgettable days, guests will discover the richness of NSW regional produce, paired not only with world-class wine, beer and cocktails, but also with art, design, music, and culture.
Guests can choose between two daily sessions, a vibrant daytime experience or an enchanting evening atmosphere.
Day session: 12 – 4 pm | Evening session: 5.30 – 9.30 pm
General Admission tickets: $59 per person, which will include entry to the festival area, all musical acts, wine and cheese tastings, a take home festival glass, an opportunity to browse art and design as well as meet NSW makers.
You will have the freedom to purchase a wide array of culinary delights ranging from tasting bites like freshly shucked oysters to hearty meals offered by gourmet food trucks and local chefs. Visitors to the festival can browse and purchase from local agritourism providers, unwind with a craft beer or cocktail on the lawn while enjoying live performances.
