For those guests with an inquisitive mind Wolgan Valley offers two fabulous wildlife safaris. The Wildlife and Sundowner tour sets off just before sunset travelling between sheer sandstone cliffs you will see kangaroos, wallaroos, wallabies and smaller animals, you will visit the Wollemi Pine Cove to the world’s rarest tree species, travelling through the ancient sandstone escapements the tour concluded with canapés, refreshment and glad of bubbles and you watch the sun disappear.
Another amazing adventure is a drive in a luxury four wheel drive to explore the nocturnal world of the bush. Spot possums, wombats, owls and smaller species often only seen after dark before stopping at a remote valley to experience the magnificent southern sky at night.
