School Holiday Slumber Party
Wildlife Retreat at Taronga Zoo
You will be just 15 minutes from Sydney CBD, but you will feel a world away, in a secluded, harbourside bushland setting. This school holiday enjoy a family escape for two adults and two children in interconnected Bushland or an Animal view rooms with the best of inclusions for your Taronga Zoo sleepover.
- An afternoon tour of the Sanctuary, the Australian native wildlife habitat exclusive to guests of the Wildlife Retreat home to Koalas, Wallabies, Echidnas and other unique Australian species
- A Family Night Walk of Taronga Zoo with one of our expert guides
- À la carte breakfast at Me-Gal restaurant, with breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour
- Complimentary access to Taronga Zoo for the duration of your stay

Together as a family take part in one of a kind educational and interactive experiences designed specifically for this overnight stay including Welcome to the Park, Behind the Scenes at the Vet Centre, Fireside Culture Chat, Fire in the Forest, an in-camp ranger chat to prepare guests for their time at Tidbinbilla and Aboriginal Hanging Rock.
This unique wilderness camp also includes a child-friendly CSI inspired activity as well as a fun Hi-Tech Wildlife night vision scopes experience – a big favourite with past glamping families.
Each overnight family sleepover package includes three of the listed ranger activities as well as breakfast, dinner, campfire fun including stargazing, roasting marshmallows and 6-metre Emperor Bell glamping tent accommodation – and each tent includes real beds with quality bed linen.
